Raising Parents, Raising Future

On Global Day of Parents 2025, let’s celebrate the real heroes behind every child’s growth.

Let’s face it: no one is born knowing how to be a parent. We learn along the way. We stumble, adjust, and try again.

And when you’re raising a neurodiverse child—one with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, or other learning challenges—the learning curve can feel even steeper.

This year’s Global Day of Parents comes with a powerful theme: "Raising Parents." It’s a reminder that parenting is a skill. It takes time, support, and the right tools. Because raising a child isn’t just about guiding their growth. It’s also about growing into the role yourself.

Neurodiverse Parenting Is a Unique Journey

If you’re the parent of a neurodiverse child, you already know your path doesn’t look like everyone else’s. It comes with extra questions, unexpected twists and turns, and moments that few people truly understand.

Simple tasks like getting a haircut or starting school can turn into major hurdles. In the process, you become more than a parent. You become a therapist, a researcher, an advocate, and often your child’s one constant.

It’s a lot to carry. But you don’t have to do it alone.

What Parents Need: Real Tools, Not Just Praise

Yes, parents deserve to be celebrated. But recognition alone is not enough—especially for families raising children with learning differences.

That’s why we created Enara.

Enara is a digital platform developed by therapists specializing in early intervention. It’s designed to help families continue their child’s learning journey between therapy sessions. It transforms therapist-recommended activities into interactive games and exercises, powered by AI technology.

The goal is simple: to help children build essential skills—like communication, attention, and daily routines—through engaging and consistent practice.

But the real magic lies in how Enara supports parents. It brings structure to daily life, tracks progress and gives caregivers the confidence that they are helping their child in the best possible way. Because support shouldn’t end when the therapy session does.

This Is What “Raising Parents” Looks Like

UNICEF is launching Parenting Month 2025 to highlight what modern parenting really demands—knowledge and the right tools. At Enara, we couldn’t agree more.

When we talk about “raising parents,” we’re not saying that parents are doing something wrong. We’re saying that all parents—especially those raising neurodiverse children—deserve opportunities to grow, learn, and feel prepared to help their children thrive.

To Every Parent: You Are Not Alone

So here’s to you. The parents who stay up late researching therapy options. The ones who’ve learned new words like “sensory processing” and “neuroplasticity.” And the ones who show up, every single day, even when it’s hard.

You’re not just raising children. You’re building resilience. You’re creating joy. You’re shaping a more inclusive world.

At Enara, we see you. We stand beside you. Because when we raise parents, we raise the future.
